No itch derm is a registrered and proven lotion to treat and prevent sweat itch in horses and ponies.
Its active ingredient, benz yl benzoate, and plants extracts has proven to be effective within one hour after application. 
Effects of Benzyl Benzoate:

Caution : In case of severe skin disorders, consult a veterinarian. Apply NO ITCH DERM to all affected areas ( mane, tail … ) then rub in with fingers or a soft cloth as soon as sweet itch appears.
For initial application : Apply twice daily the first 3 days then reduce to once daily for 4-5 days and then 3-4 times a week.
When symtoms are restrained then apply only once a week.
It is recommanded to apply NO ITCH DERM in early spring before symptoms come to light so that condition doesn’t worsen. Product for external use. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and protect from freezing. Close well after each use, Keep out of reach of children. Does not contain any substance likely to contravene the FFE, FEI and Racing Code regulations.
